In 1906, W.K. Kellogg established the Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, MI. Over 100 years later, our World Headquarters is still located in downtown Cereal City, USA. The architectural works of Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan, and Eliel Saarinen inspired the design of our current building, which opened in June 1986. The CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and employees across many functions of the North American and Global businesses are based in our Headquarters. Employees here enjoy access to a variety of amenities including an on-site gym with state of the art equipment, cafe, and cafeteria.
Set in a prime location between two major cities, Detroit and Chicago, West Michigan is best known for its summer festivals, as well as legendary local cuisine and breweries. West Michigan residents also enjoy easy access to the Great Lakes and four seasons of outdoor activities, from skiing in winter to summer golf and lake activities.
In 1997, the W.K. Kellogg Institute for Food and Nutrition Research was opened close to our Global Headquarters in downtown Battle Creek, MI. WKKI was developed to bring together diverse, cross-cultural teams of Research, Quality, Technology, and Engineering employees to help us create the next big thing in cereal, snacks and goodies for our global markets. Our foundation is innovation, so it's no wonder that WKKI has five restaurant quality kitchens, extensive research facilities and a large, flexible experimental production area. Employees at WKKI enjoy the same amenities as their co-workers in our nearby World Headquarters and the rest of our Battle Creek campus.

Like the rest of West Michigan, Grand Rapids boasts easy access to the Great Lakes and outdoor activities. Grand Rapids art and culture outshines that of many larger cities and includes ArtPrize, the world's largest art competition, museums, historical sites, and more.
