What Do I Need to Know About the Recruiting Approach?

Step One: Find The Right Opportunity

You’re looking for a bright future and we’re interested in being part of it. Your journey with us begins here — on our Careers site where you can use our simple Job Search to find the right opportunity for you or register for job alerts to be notified of future opportunities when they arise. In the meantime, you can browse our Careers site to find out what it’s really like to be part of a company where you will have the freedom to achieve your goals in an environment that cares about your career development.

Step two: apply

Once you have found the opportunity that is right for you, go ahead and complete your application online. During the application process, you will be asked to upload your résumé/CV and tell us about your past experiences through an online questionnaire. You will be asked to take our on-line assessment as part of the application. The assessment will take 20 to 30 minutes and will cover a range of topics. Then, you will receive a response from our recruitment team to let you know next steps. If you are a good match for the position, we’ll be in touch to arrange to talk and learn more about you. If you aren’t suitable for the role you have applied for, the good news is that you will also be considered for other roles.

Step three: phone interview

You’ve applied for the position and we feel that your skills and experience might be what we’re looking for. We want to know a little more about you, so let’s talk! In most markets, a recruiter will contact you to discuss your applications and to better understand your suitability for the role you have applied for, in addition other potential opportunities with Kellogg. The phone interview is an initial 30- to 40-minute chat that will determine whether we should schedule a face-to-face interview later in the process. The phone interview will include a two-way discussion about your past experiences, education, skills and future career aspirations. This will also be an opportunity for you to find out firsthand what it’s like to work here.

Step four: in-person interview

The in-person interview is your chance to come and meet with us. You’ve made an impact on us and we’re excited to learn more about you in person. To do this, we use behavioral-based interviews to take a closer look at your skills and abilities and how well they match with our current and future job openings. This is an opportunity for us to understand your capabilities and what motivates you, and for you to understand more about us. We know that just as we are selecting the right person to help grow our business, you are selecting the right role to shape your future career.

Step five: offer and acceptance

Step six: onboard

Once you’ve accepted an offer at Kellogg, you will receive additional details about your on-boarding experience, including access to our online portal for new hires.  This portal includes links and information to help you get started, and be ready for day one.
